Beat the Winter Blues

Many of us struggle to come out of hibernation this time of year. The long work days, grey skies and dark evenings make us inclined to curl up on the sofa.

This February 3rd Norwich Creative Market are running a special one off event to combine our collective enjoyment of making and creating with ways to improve your well being. There will be bookable classes running in various disciplines, where you can learn a new hobby with expert guidance. We will have a number of local groups and clubs. both craft based and not, providing information about their activities. There will be some lesser known providers of free and paid well being services providing information (But no gyms or diet plans. We get sick of them by January!) There will also be some charitable organisations offering volunteer opportunities.

Want a stall?

We have stall space available to book. Free clubs, services and charities are eligible for a free 4ft stall. Paid for, small business services can have a stall to promote themselves for a small fee.

Please, no gyms, diets, religious or political groups.

Be your own Valentine

Treat yourself to something special or buy a treat for a friend. We will have our usual 50 stalls of handmade gifts.

Learn a new hobby

Book tuition with one of our experienced makers. Classes will be 1-2 hours long and you will get everything you need to make a finished product. There will also be extension kits available so you can continue at home.

Join a local group

We will have plenty of free to join activities with us on the day. Get information about things to do without breaking the bank. If you are already a member of a club, ask them to get in touch about a free stall.

Volunteer

If you have a couple of hours free each week then volunteering can be a great way to meat new people and get out of a winter rut. If you are an organisation that offers volunteering opportunities please email us.

Access Well Being Services

Many small businesses offer services to help with your physical and mental well being. Charitable, free and paid activities will be raising awareness of their services at this event.

Meet New People

It's hard to make friends as an adult. A number of social groups will be with us on the 3rd of February to let you know what's out there.
